Phom apex bodies inspect Nectar project site in Longleng

LONGLENG, JUNE 17 (MExN): The Phom People’s Council (PPC) and Phom Students’ Conference (PSC) on June 16 conducted a joint inspection of the ongoing Nectar Project construction site at Bautung Government Higher Secondary School, Longleng, to assess the progress and quality of the work.

The inspection team was led by PPC president YB Angam and PSC president C. Sham-e Phom. During the visit, the leaders interacted with site engineers and workers to understand the current status and challenges of the project implementation.

Following a detailed walkthrough of the site, the PPC and PSC expressed satisfaction with the quality of construction and noted the commendable pace of progress despite adverse weather conditions. The team lauded the construction crew for their dedication and professionalism, stating that the structural work aligns with the approved plans and adheres to technical and safety standards.

The apex bodies urged the construction team to maintain consistency in quality and to continue working diligently in the remaining phases of the project. They also called on all stakeholders—including the implementing agency, education department, and local community—to collaborate effectively to ensure accountability and timely completion.

The Nectar Project is aimed at enhancing the educational infrastructure of Bautung Government Higher Secondary School, a key academic institution in Longleng district. Both PPC and PSC reiterated their commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to educational development and community welfare in the region.
