Dimapur, October 22 (MExN): Phom Students’ Conference appeals to the NSCN-IM to revoke the “azha” served to Goa Governor SC Jamir and Nagaland Principal Secretary Alemtemshi Jamir. The student’s reminded that such decrees are detrimental to the peace-process. A note from the organization reminded the NSCN-IM that peace and unit among the Nagas are two crucial and important needs to further the cause. “…but declaring azha on any Naga citizen by any individual or organization will only weaken ourselves by sowing a seed of hatred among the Nagas” the Phom students’ stated through its general secretary T Longlang Luckpan. On these reasons the PSC appeals to the NSCN-IM to revoke the “azhas” in the larger interest of peace, unity and prosperity.
