Mon, July 31 (MExN): The Town Education Committee (TEC), Phomching and Good Samaritan Society (GSS), Longwa (Implementing Agency of Girl's Hostel) held a combined meeting for smooth functioning of GHS and Girl’s Hostel, Phomching town on July 17.
Bannyei Konyak, Chairman of TEC, Phomching acknowledged the government of Nagaland for upgrading GMS, Phomching to GHS, and also appreciated P Pohwang, Advisor, Fire & Emergency Service, SIRD and RR, Nagaland for his initiative taken to solve the grievances of students, general public and the NGOs on shortage of teachers.
A press release from TEC, Phomching informed that Pohwang appointed two Arts teachers and a Science Teacher privately for a period of six months.
New set of agendas were made for the smooth functioning of GHS, Phomching. The TEC also urged the teaching and non-teaching staff to execute their respective duties well.
The Good Samaritan Society, Longwa also acknowledged the optimistic approach of the Department of School Education, Government of Nagaland for installing Girls’ Hostel at GHS, Phomching. The Society also urged the public of Phomching Area to cooperate with the society for smooth functioning of the hostel. Earlier, the meeting was chaired by Bannyei, Chairman TEC and M Longshah, Deacon Phomching Town Baptist Church invoked the meeting.
