DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 26 (MExN): The two-day 30th annual sports meet of Pilgrim Higher Secondary School kicked off on October 26 with MLA Keneizhakho Nakhro as the special guest. The hoisting of flag by the special guest was followed by school anthem by the school choir.
After the parade inspection the four houses partook in the march-past commanded by Parade Commander Kethosevi Yhonzone and Parade Adjutant Lamminhao Singson. This was followed by a drill from the students. Nakhro, delivering a short speech, said that games and sports are an integral part of a student’s life. He quoted. “All work and no play make Jack a dull boy”.
He, later declared the meet open. This was followed by oath conducted by school leader, Tolivi. The sports events started off after the torch run by Lumreto S and Khehoni Zhimomi, the best athletes of 2017.
