Pilgrim Higher Secondary School team with others at the 2nd inter-higher secondary girls’ futsal tournament organized by Innovative and Development Cell, Pranabananda Women’s College on September 23 and 24.
Dimapur, September 24 (MExN): The 2nd inter-higher secondary girls’ futsal tournament was organized by Innovative and Development Cell (IDC), Pranabananda Women’s College on September 23 and 24.
The winner of the tournament was Pilgrim Higher Secondary School and the runner’s up was batched by Green Wood Higher Secondary School.
The Coordinator, IDC, Meyisangla Jamir, Asstt Prof, Department of English stated that the tournament was organized with the vision to provide platform to the girl students in the field of sports to empower and uplift them. A total of nine teams from different higher secondary schools of Dimapur participated.
The programme was chaired by Bendangmongla Lemtur, Asstt Prof, Department of Commerce and exhortation was delivered by Imkongakum Ao, Asst. Prof. Department of History. Vote of thanks was delivered by Themneingah Henneng, Asst. Prof. Department of Political Science.
The tournament was sponsored by ICFAI University Nagaland, Inner-Wheel Dimapur, NIIT- Dimapur, Titan and Kiran Sports Dimapur.
