Dimapur, May 19 (MExN): Pinnacle Skills organised a certification and kit distribution programme for the fourth batch of self-employed barber project, at Sematila Training center, Dimapur.

The event was held in the presence of Er H Alongse, Joint Director, Department of Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of Nagaland along with David Kire, Officer on Special Duty, Investment and Development Authority, Government of Nagaland.

A press release received here stated that Kire challenged the candidates to work hard and not to give up and also shared how the department can assist in making Project reports to avail for loans from banks in future. 

Er Alongse emphasised on the importance of Entrepreneurship and self-reliance and not to be dependent on the government for jobs and livelihood. As Entrepreneurs, he advised them to have a customer centric approach and be humble and sincere to attract customers which will help them grow. 

He also pointed out how Proper management of Finances leads to Success in business ventures like maintaining regular transaction though a bank account and having a good relation with banks and financial institutions to acquire loan and expand their businesses. 

A total of 24 candidates completed the training who were given away certificate of completion along with tools and equipment to start their shops at the respective villages and sub-divisions.
