Wokha/Jalukie/Mon, February 18 (MExN): Pinnacle Skills has completed certification programmes for its first batches of electrician and plumbing trainees in Wokha, Jalukie and Mon under the Nagaland Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Mission (NESDM).
The initiative, sponsored by NESDM, aims to bridge the local skill gap and promote self-employment among youth.
In Wokha, Additional Deputy Commissioner Renbomo Ezung lauded the graduates and highlighted the growing demand for technical skills. In Jalukie, trainees showcased their practical training by completing the electrical and plumbing works for the new Council Hall at Pungchi village.
Speaking at the Jalukie programme, Town Councillor Menailui advised the youth to remain disciplined and focused in their professional pursuits. In Mon, APMC Chairman S K Salim encouraged the trainees to become role models in society through hard work and dedication.
Project Manager of Pinnacle Skills, Mr Tiamoa Tzudir, reiterated the organisation’s commitment to strengthening vocational training and empowering youth.
Trainees also shared their experiences, stating that the hands-on training had prepared them for employment opportunities as well as entrepreneurship, informed a press release from the Pinnacle Skills.
