Pinnacle Skills training centre for women at Jalukie

Peren, March 30 (MExN): Sarita Yadav IAS, SDO civil, Peren on Thursday inaugurated Pinnacle Skills training centre for women at Jalukie. The centre, located in the premises of Jalukie Town Baptist Church will impart training in cutting, tailoring and apparel design, stated a press release received here.  

Speaking as chief guest, Sarita Yadav appreciated the opportunity provided to women by starting a centre near their homes. Speaking in Nagamese, she encouraged the trainees to attend the training diligently and get the most out of it.  

Chief Executive of Pinnacle Skills Dr. Yan Murry while delivering the project overview appreciated the willingness of Jalukie Town Baptist Church to help establish the centre within the church premises which enabled the training to start without delay. Dr Murry said that besides providing self employment opportunities, efforts will be put to help trainees start micro enterprises through industry tie-ups. He also said that very soon trainings on construction will be provided for youths of the district.  

District Project Manager, Peren of North East Rural Livelihood Project, Ruuvilie Kotsu highlighted the various activities initiated through the project of which the skill training is a part. He was happy that the training centre could be set-up in the district and students now need not travel far to avail such opportunity.  

The programme was chaired by Merrybemo Ovung, Trainer, Pinnacle Skills. Invocation prayer was offered by Iheusing Legiese, Associate paster, Jalukie Town Baptist church, Executive Director, Pinnacle Skills Jenny Haining Murry proposed the vote of thanks.
