PMJAY anniversary celebrated in Jalukie CHC

Jalukie, October 2 (MExN): The 6th anniversary of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) and the 3rd anniversary of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) were celebrated at the Jalukie Community Health Centre on September 30.

During the celebration, Dr Lanuakum, Deputy CMO and DNO for AB-PMJAY/CMHIS, gave an overview of the Ayushman Bharat PMJAY, which provides health insurance coverage of up to Rs 5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary healthcare.

He also shared the number of beneficiaries registered under the empanelled hospitals in Peren district.

Meanwhile, TL Kiusumong Tikhir, ADC, Jalukie, expressed appreciation to the Health Department and all stakeholders for the success of Ayushman Bharat PMJAY and appealed to citizens to avail themselves of the opportunity. He urged village and colony leaders to support the Health Department’s efforts in their areas to achieve 100% coverage and awareness of the scheme.

At the event, Jalukie CHC was recognised as the best-performing empanelled hospital in the area.

To mark the occasion, an essay competition was conducted, and the top three winners were awarded cash prizes and certificates. The event also included a testimony from an AB-PMJAY beneficiary, according to a press release from the District Media Officer, CMO Office, Peren.
