Condemns “vested individuals” who attended February 8 consultative meeting
Kohima, February 9 (MExN): The Pochury Hoho, Kohima in its emergency meeting held on February 9 has “vehemently condemn” the act of few “vested individuals” who attended the consultative meeting which was convened by the Chief Minister of Nagaland, at State Banquet Hall at Kohima on February 8.
Pochury Hoho, Kohima (PHK) in a press release issued by its president Atathu Thurr and General Secretary John Nyuwi said that the five individuals using the non-existing organization as Pochury People’s Forum which appeared in the local dailies have defamed the entire Pochury populace by defying the Eight Resolutions passed and adopted by all the Naga Apex bodies on February 7, 2017 at APO Conference Hall Kohima under the aegis of JCC and NTAC.
The hoho stated that these five individuals have betrayed the call of the Nagas and also directly violated the Resolution passed by the Apex Pochury Hoho, HQ Meluri dated January 13, 2017 wherein the stand of the Naga Hoho was against holding of ULB election and the Pochury Hoho, Kohima which was resolved on February 6, 2017 to stand firm by the directives of the NTAC respectively.
Further, the Pochury Hoho, Kohima resolved not to entertain the five individuals in any social participation/position of their tribe and demand them to resign immediately from whatsoever position they are holding at present and urge the Apex Pochury Hoho and concern village Authorities to initiate stern action against them.
Also, the Pochury Hoho, Kohima informed that it disassociates from the following individuals including Monte Chupa, Vichutho Nyusou, Joyson Pfithu, Atsopu Fithu and Junte who attended the consultative meeting with the Chief Minister after having attended and agreed with resolutions of the Co-ordination meeting convened by the JCC and NTAC.
The Pochury Hoho, Kohima also reaffirmed its stand in support of the JCC and NTAC resolutions.
