Wokha, May 4 (MExN): A family of four members at Bhandari town from Yimza Village, consumed wild ground Mushrooms which turned out to be poisonous and were admitted to Christian Medical Centre (CMC) Vankhosung, Wokha on May 3.
According to a DIPR report, a 12 year old son was stated to have died on the evening of May 3 and the mother, Wobeni Kikon died the next day on May 4.
Managing Director, (MD) CMC, Dr Rilanthung Odyuo stated that the father and his older son are presently in a stable condition and are under care, the report stated.
As per the DIPR, the father, Yihamo Kikon stated that the family consumed the ground mushroom on the evening of April 29.
