Coordination among police, law enforcement functionaries and NGOs in curbing the problems related to drug abuse in Manipur was stressed in a “one-day sensitization programme for police and law enforcement functionaries on drug abuse prevention”.
The programme jointly organised by Regional Research Training Centre (RRTC) and Imphal West district police was held at the recreation hall of Imphal West district police headquarters on Sunday.
It aims at sensitising the police personnel of the district on the problem of drug trafficking and abuse in the state, according to RRTC officials.
