
DIMAPUR, JANUARY 13 (MExN): Two unidentified dead bodies were recovered in two separate locations at the Dimapur railway station on January 13. According to Government Railway Police Station, one of the deceased was a woman, believed to be around 50-55 years of age. A non-Naga, the body was found around 7:00 am inside the ticketing hall, GRPS said. Ill-health was suspected to be the cause of death. The woman was wearing an orange sweater, grey slacks and bangle on the left wrist.
Another unidentified dead body of a man was recovered from the railway tracks at post number 25811 behind IOC depot at around 12:30 pm. The deceased had sustained severe trauma on the head and his left leg was found swollen, GRPS said. The man was suspected to have fallen off a train. He was found wearing a pair of brown pants and white shirt. Both the bodies were shifted to the district hospital morgue for identification.
