Dimapur, February 2 (DIPR): The first phase of training for polling personnel of Dimapur district for the ensuing Assembly Election was conducted at Dimapur Government College on February 2.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer of Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel (IAS) urged the gathering to be attentive in the training as all the hard works undertaken for the last few months by the administration and different machinery will go wasted if they do not perform well on the polling day.
He also warned them not to come requesting for exemption of duty unless they are recommended by the medical board.
The polling personnel will be trained in three phases by 32 Master Trainers.
