Celebrating World Environment Day, the Porbami Students' Union (PSU) organised a tree plantation drive on June 5. Aiming to further educate the people of the importance of green-conservation, the Union planted about 2500 tree saplings in the village surroundings also from Vecüthe to Peace Camp (Pfütsero to Phek) by the Two-Lane Road leading to Porba, NRCM- KVK Link Road.
