Kohima, June 20 (MExN): A portrait of late Capt N Kenguruse, MVC was presented to his family by Hutansh Verma at Kohima on June 19. Family members of late Capt N Kenguruse and Col Surender Kumar, Commandant Chieswema Battalion were present at the event.
A press release issued by PRO, HQ IGAR (N) said that ‘Portraits of Patriots’ is an endearing initiative led by Hutansh Verma that came into existence in May 2014. He sketches and paints portraits of brave heroes who have made supreme sacrifice for the nations cause. He works with a hope to bring about a sense of solidarity and moral support to the family of martyrs.
“So far ‘Portraits of Patriots’ has presented 49 portraits of our brave soldiers. In his latest endeavor he has painted portrait of Late Capt N Kenguruse, MVC,” mentioned the press release.
