Poshan Maah event on the topic ‘COVID-19 breastfeeding and nutrition’ was held at GHSS Chukitong, Wokha on September 23. Dr Abenthung Murry, MO I/c Chukitong PHC spoke on importance of breast feeding and nutrition for growth and development with special emphasis on pregnant and nursing women and children. Dr Daisy, DNO (NTCP) shared on ill effects tobacco consumption both active and passive smokers with special emphasis on women. Mharonthung (A/C, NRLM) shared on the importance of maintenance and development of organic kitchen gardens.
