Peren, September 25 (MExN): In view of Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month), ICDS Jalukie project under the Department of Social Welfare conducted awareness programme at Lamhai village council hall, Lamhai village, Peren on September 24.
According to a DIPR report, the CDPO Jalukie, Namhuheing spoke on nutrition and kitchen garden where he encouraged plantation drives for promotion of nutri-garden and emphasized on the importance of organic food locally available for consumption. He also informed that a proper diet can ensure and enhance our body in proper state.
The programme was chaired by Supervisor Jalukie project, Meyie Kronu while Block Coordinator, Pauram Zeliang demonstrated hand washing. Vote of thanks was delivered by Heipeuhangle AWW.
