Mokokchung, March 29 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma, has informed that postal ballot voting for absentee voters will be conducted on April 1 and 2 for the bye-election to the 28 (ST) Koridang Assembly Constituency.
According to an official update, the facility will be extended to eligible categories including senior citizens (AUSC), persons with disabilities (AUPD), and COVID-19 suspect or affected individuals (AVCO).
The schedule for postal ballot voting is as follows:
• April 1, 2026: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm – First visit at the addresses of AUSC/AUPD/AVCO
• April 2, 2026: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm – Second visit at the addresses of AUSC/AUPD/AUCO
The administration has urged all eligible voters in these categories to avail the facility and exercise their franchise as per the schedule.
