Dimapur, May 15 (MExN): Several localities in Dimapur district are expected to experience power shutdown in the morning with the power department affecting a scheduled shutdown between May 16 and May 20. Accordingly, the power supply from 11kV Airport, Purana Bazaar & Veterinary Feeders will be affected on May 16, 18, 19 and 20, from 4-8AM, informed a notification from Er Chubatemsu Ao, Sub-Divisional Officer, Electrical Sub- Division No.-II, Dimapur. The affected areas are Burma Camp, Purana Bazaar as well as parts of Walford, Naharbari, Darogajan, Padumpukhuri, Darogapathar and its adjoining areas. The shutdown is being done for construction of 11kV Trunk line to strengthen the 11kV feeders along main roads in Dimapur Town, the notification added, requesting the public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
