KOHIMA, FEBRUARY 24 (MExN): The Department of Power, Office of the Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Kohima, has informed that there will be a total shutdown of power at the 33/11kV Jakhama Sub-Station on February 25 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to facilitate emergency maintenance work.
According to a press release issued by the Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Kohima, the shutdown is being undertaken “to facilitate emergency maintenance work at 33/11kV Jakhama Sub-Station.”
The department stated that villages and areas presently fed from the sub-station will be affected during the shutdown period. The affected areas include Viswema, Khuzama, Jakhama, Kigwema, Mima, Phesama and Kisama.
“All consumers and public in the affected areas are therefore requested to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period,” the press release stated.
