MOKOKCHUNG, SEPTEMBER 22 (MExN): The Power Department has informed that scheduled re-conductoring work for the 66kV Transmission Lines near Naghuto village will take place from September 25 to 30. To ensure the smooth execution of the project, there will be complete power shutdown in the specified hours.
A press release from the department informed that the power shutdown schedule is daily from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 02:00 PM to 06:00 PM. The power shutdown will impact the following areas: Zunheboto Town, Satakha and surrounding areas. The department has appealed to all residents and the public in the affected areas to extend their cooperation during this period. While the inconvenience caused by the power shutdown is regrettable, it is a necessary step to ensure a more reliable power supply in the region, it added.
