Mokokchung, November 5 (MExN): Power supply to Mon district was disrupted on November 5. According to a press release issued by the SDO (Transmission), Mokokchung, there was breakage of insulators along the 66KV Naginimora-Tizit Transmission today. The release stated that all effort was being made to restore supply and requested the “Affected consumers are requested to kindly bear with the inconvenience.” When contacted by The Morung Express, the official said that 3 insulators were damaged between two towers. He added that except Naginimora town supply to the rest of Mon district was completely cut as a result and the damage would be restored likely by November 6 evening.
