Tseminyu, June 29 (MExN): The Chief Engineer (D&R), Department of Power, Nagaland, Kohima, Er Wabangmeren Jamir has “immediately sanctioned and provided the much-needed transformer as requested by the Rengma Hoho.” This was informed in a press release issued by Rengma Hoho, President Tesinlo Semy and General Secretary Shatilo Kent.
This prompt action has ensured the restoration of power supply to the denizens of Tseminyu New Town and its surrounding villages, which were critically affected by the recent damage to the existing transformer, the Rengma Hoho stated.
The Rengma Hoho has thanked Er Wabang, Chief Engineer (D&R) and Er Chenosin Kemp, Executive Engineer, Wokha Division for their dedication and timely address of this urgent need. “Their swift action and commitment to their duty have fulfilled the pressing needs of the Tseminyu new town residents, especially in light of the upcoming ULB election,” it stated.
“We look forward to continued collaboration and support from the Department of Power to ensure the well-being and development of our community,” the Rengma Hoho added.
