DIMAPUR, JANUARY 15 (MExN): Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School, Dimapur managed by the Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Dimapur organised the annual sports meet 2023 for Primary & Secondary sections from January 10 to 12 at Pranabananda Women’s College ground, Dimapur.
The opening ceremony was graced by the Vice-Principal, Ashok Kumar Ray. The students took part in various outdoor and indoor games. Alongwith the students, parents also took part in some events.
The closing ceremony was marked with the ‘National Youth Day’ on January 12. The Principal, Monoj Bhattacharjee emphasised the importance of the youth day. The theme of the day was ‘Viksit Yuva Viksit Bharat.’
In his speech, the Principal also mentioned that 62 to 65 percent of Indian’s population comprises of young people. Therefore, the youth of the nation are going to be the role model for all-round development of the nation, he stated. At the same time he also announced that from the academic year-2023 onwards Pranab Vidyapith Hr. Sec. School is going to start arts stream with efficient and experienced faculty members.
