Dimapur, January 5 (MExN): Pranab Vidyapith Hr Sec School (PVHSS), Dimapur managed by Bharat Sevashram Sangha (BSS), Dimapur organised its 39th school foundation day at the Pranab Jubilee Auditorium on January 5.
A press release from the school stated that the ceremony was graced by Param Pujyapada Srimat Swami Viswapremanandaji Maharaj, Vice-President, BSS, Head Office, Kolkata as the chief guest and Srimat Swami Gurupanandaji Maharaj, Joint Secretary of All India Hindu Milan Mandir Central Committee as the guest of Honour. They were accompanied with Srimat Swami Chinmayanandaji Maharaj, Chairman, PVHSS & In-charge, BSS, Dimapur and Karbi-Anglong District of Assam. Besides, other dignified personalities of Dimapur and huge gatherings attended the occasion of the Vidyapith.
The school annual report was presented by PVHSS Principal, Monoj Bhattacharjee.
Centenarian Binode Behari Chanda, popularly known as BB Chanda was honoured and felicitated for his notable achievement for the society. Among the Bengali community in Dimapur, BB Chanda is one of the senior most citizen, a senior Rotarian and also associated with many social organisations.
The school also awarded ‘Pranab Jyoti Award’ to all the Toppers and State highest in various subjects of HSLC-2022 & HSSLC-2022(Sc & Com) candidates of PVHSS.
