Dimapur, February 21 (MExN): Pranab Vidyapith Hr Sec School, Dimapur observed International Mother Languages Day at its auditorium on Saturday, with students celebrating linguistic diversity by paying tribute to their respective mother tongues.
The programme commenced with a Universal Peace Prayer. Students from various communities and tribes expressed their pride in their own mother languages while also showing equal respect to other languages.
School teacher, Dilip Das elaborated on the significance of the day's observation. The event was conducted by Dipa Paul, an Assistant Teacher at the Pranab Vidyapith HSS.
