Dimapur, February 28 (MExN): Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS), Dimapur, organized the farewell ceremony for its outgoing students of Class-10 and Class-12 (both Science and Commerce) on February 28 at the Pranab Jubilee Auditorium.
A press note received here stated that the programme was graced by Swami Chinmayanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, PVHSS. The other dignitaries present on the occasion were Monoj Bhattacharjee, Principal, PVHSS, A.K. Roy, Vice-Principal, PVHSS Pankaj Singha Secretary, Jana Jati Shiksha Samati, Nagaland and N. Dutta former teacher and well-wisher of PVHSS. The programme began with school prayer and garlanding to the portrait of Srimat Swami Pranabanandaji Maharaj, founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangha.
On the said occasion, the Principal in his speech encouraged the outgoing students and sent them off with good wishes. Ananyo Chakraborty, Poulomi Ghosh of Class-12 and Medha Bhattacharjee of Class-10 also delivered speeches. Ranu Purkayastha, A/T, PVHSS gave necessary information and guidelines to the examinees. The programme also enfolded with a number of cultural activities and eventually concluded with the words of blessings showered on the candidates by Swami Chinmoyanandaji Maharaj followed by lunch and handing over the admit cards to the candidates.
