Dimapur, October 10 (MExN): John Schlitt, who fronted as the lead singer for Petra, has requested the people to pray for him and his band for a major tour in India in November and to pray for the men & women who are working hard to bring them there, so that all hindrances preventing the Gospel from being spread and bringing encouragement to the Indian believers would be defeated by the blood of Jesus. It may be mentioned that John Schlitt and the band would be coming to Nagaland and they are being brought by a group by the name ‘Metro Team’. The band would perform on the 17th of November2011 at DDSC, Dimapur and on 18th of November at IG Stadium, Kohima.
John, through a press release, stated that he and his staff decided to have a prayer and fasting day on Wednesday, Oct. 12 and informed that anyone who wanted to be a part of a part of the fasting programme was most welcome. He also mentioned that the fasting would be for the India tour in November as well as for his concerts in Denmark this month and also the finalization of the album, “The Greater Cause,” which will be done this month. He added that the decisions on which songs to be chosen has to be taken and in what order they should be in, the mastering and finally making it available and having it heard. He also added “It’s wide open, and I’m trusting God to guide me in that direction” and that he really needs the doors of opportunity to be opened and lives to be changed who hear the song.
