Pray for peace & order: NBCC

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 9 (MExN): The Nagaland Baptist Churches Council (NBCC) has expressed concern at the current political situation and social unrest in the state and said: “If there is ever been a time to drop to our knees and pray for our State it is now. We pray because, in our own wisdom and strength, we find ourselves inadequate to face the challenge before us.”

The NBCC, in a press note, called upon all believers and churches, irrespective of denominations, to “pray for peace and order to be restored in our land again.” “In a time like this pray for our leaders that they would have the foresight to make wise decisions, taking into account future generations. Pray for open minds and listening ears, that our leaders would be open to wise counsel. Pray that truth and justice will prevail over political correctness and tolerance, both in our own lives, in our culture and in our government,” the NBCC appealed.
