
DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 18 (MExN): A declaration made at the end of the “All Naga Spiritual Awakening” convened from December 7-9, 2012 at Kutsapo Village, organized by the Naga Shisha Hoho has extended support to the Naga Reconciliation Process initiated by the Forum for Naga Reconciliation. The declaration also resolved to pray for the realization of Naga Reconciliation based on the historical and political rights of the Nagas.
“The Naga people will continue to seek God’s will and guidance and calls upon all Nagas to repent and unitedly work for the liberation of the Naga people”, stated the other point in the declaration which was informed in a press note issued by the Organizing Committee of the All Naga Spiritual Awakening.
According to the press note it was informed that during the three-day event, messages of forgiveness and repentance were shared and the speakers challenged the Naga people to walk in obedience and in faith. The organizers informed that many people received spiritual, emotional and physical healing; and many young men and women publicly declared their commitment to become missionaries.
“In the course of the Spiritual Awakening, the realization for the people to lead a prayerful life was identified and it was emphasized that Nagas should reach out to all corners of the world through the Gospel”, it was further informed.
A total of around 12,000 (Twelve Thousand) Nagas from all Naga areas, which included politicians, national workers, public leaders and concerned Nagas gathered at Kutsapo Village and made the declaration, it was stated.
The All Naga Spiritual Awakening extended appreciation to the Kutsapo Village for shouldering the responsibility to host the event. It also expressed gratitude to all people who supported this initiative through their prayers and also thanked those who generously contributed towards making the gathering possible. The organizers also expressed gratefulness to all the speakers, counselors, volunteers and all individuals who enriched the event with their wisdom and leadership.
