Prelude to Hornbill fest: Food & Music festival in Kisama

As part of ‘Prelude to Hornbill Festival’, a two day food and music festival will take place from November 24 to 25 at imagi.Land, Kisama near Kohima.

This food and music festival is funded by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, supported by Nagaland Tourism and managed by imagi.NATION.

imagi.NATION Managing Director, Elivino Seleyi told the press conference that  the two day event will be marked by live music concert, food stalls, kid’s carnival, art installations, book corner, photobooth, etc.

The inaugural programme will start from 1:00 pm onwards on the first day. On the second day, it will start from 10:00 am till 10:00 pm.

The liveshow on November 24 will feature Coffee & Rovi, Big Dane, Brahmos Orange and Abdon Mech. Domik, ZT Slingshot, Papersky, The Gluttones and Trance Effect will perform on November 25.

Seleyi informed that the entry ticket has been fixed at Rs 50 per visitor. Daily Liveshow will start from 5:00 pm onwards.

Toka E Tuccumi, Deputy Director, Nagaland Tourism informed that this Food & Music festival is an official event of  ‘Prelude to Hornbill Festival,’ which is the first of its kind in Nagaland. He thanked the Ministry of Tourism for funding this event.

There will be specific food stalls for Sumi, Ao, Lotha and Chakhesang. “We are promoting local artists as well,” he said.
Mentionably, Hornbill Festival will start from December 1 to 10.
