Dimapur, November 7 (MExN): The Office of the Commanding Officer, 113 Infantry Battalion (TA) Rajput, Rangapahar Military Station, held a coordination meeting with concerned departments on November 6 at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, to discuss arrangements for the Territorial Army Recruitment Rally scheduled from November 15 to December 1, 2025.
The meeting focused on preparations including logistics, venue management, security, law and order, medical facilities, documentation and verification, transport, and sanitation. Responsibilities were assigned to participating departments, including Dimapur Police, 113 Infantry Battalion (TA), Dimapur Municipal Council, East Dimapur Town Council, Public Works, Roads & Bridges, PHE, Health, Education, Transport, and Public Relations offices.
Officials highlighted that this is a first-of-its-kind mega recruitment rally in Nagaland, attracting candidates from the 10 North Eastern States with an expected turnout of 15,000. Eligible candidates are aged 18–42 years and must have passed Class 8–10. District-wise schedules have been allocated to manage crowds. The rally will start from TCP Gate to High Mountain School ground at 5:30 am for the first batch, continuing until 8:30–9:00 am.
Authorities assured that the recruitment process will be fair, transparent, and efficiently conducted, ensuring smooth participation and compliance with all protocols, State DIPR reported.
