Preparatory works complete for UGC-NET exams

Dimapur, June 1 (MExN): All the eligible candidates for UGC-NET Exams (both JRF and Lectureship), category are informed that admission slip and copy of UGC instructions have already been dispatched through speed post indicating the venue of test (Jubilee Memorial School Mokokchung) “a prestigious School in the state having adequate space and other facilities for the purpose of the said test” scheduled on June 26 as notified earlier. Notice has already been served to all the rejected candidates also stating the reasons thereof.
A press note issued by Prof. A. Lanunungsang, Dean & Co-ordinator, UGC-NET Exam, Nagaland University informed that all the preparatory works for successful conduct of the said test have already been completed as per UGC instructions well in advance such as arrangement of venue of test, hall–wise and subject wise seating arrangement, appointment of superintendents, invigilators, medical team etc.
Further, the note also mentioned that considering the location of the venue of test, administration is making all possible initiatives for convenient of the students coming from different parts of the state and beyond. Students from Dimapur Zone needing lodging and food in Mokokchung during this time should submit their name to the Dean, SETAM Dimapur and from Kohima Zone to the Dean, School of Humanities and Education, Meriema, Campus Kohima or before June 10 indicating gender, numbers of days and dates for their comfortable stay at Mokokchung. Respective Deans from different Zones will submit the list of students to the coordinator needing accommodation in Mokokchung on or before June 15. After assessing the number of outstation students, coming from different parts of Nagaland and its beyond, they will be intimated the place/location of their stay through mass media.
The coordinator has already requested to all the NST Station Superintendent of different districts in Nagaland and private bus owners/local taxi association to extend their best services to the students during this exams. Outstation students are advised to plan their to and fro journey coming in group. Local taxi and bus services in Mokokchung will be made available for convenient of the students during the said exams including tea stall though it will be on Sunday.  Private hostel owners, civil societies including churches in Mokokchung will be happy to extend their valuable services for the success of this exam for the first time in Mokokchung unlike other center in the country, the note further added.
