NOKLAK, OCTOBER 1 (MExN): The body of a 64-year-old man from Chiphur village in the Thonoknyu area of Noklak district was recovered on September 30. The deceased was presumed to have drowned while fishing on August 19 at the Chokla River. His body was found on September 30, 42 days after the incident. According to a DIPR report, following his disappearance, villagers formed a search team when the man did not return home. Despite their efforts, they could only locate his belongings on the riverbank. On September 30, two individuals reported seeing a body in the river, prompting the search team to rush to the location, where they successfully retrieved the body.
