Zunheboto, March 15 (MExN): Primary Health Centre building (Day Care) at Lazami village under Pughoboto block was inaugurated by Dr Sukhato A Sema, MLA, 13 A/C Pughoboto as the special guest on March 14.
In his speech Dr Sukhato stated that Government has constructed the healthcare building and now it is the responsibility of the community to have the sense of ownership for the health unit. He urged the public for more community participation to invest more and seek medical interaction in their own health unit as to enhance performance and reporting, stated a press release received here.
Dr K Akaho Sema Dy CMO Zunheboto in his short speech stressed on the smooth functioning of the health centres and urged upon the public to be equally responsible on their part. Further, he informed that performance and effective implementation were essential in order to achieve better performance which also increases the chances of upgrading to higher facilities. He urged the public to extend cooperation to the health workers during various health activities.
During the inauguration programme, dedicatory prayer by Rev Akhato L Achumi Senior Pastor, Lazami Baptist Church, welcome address by Khakhu James Sema Chairman, Village Council Lazami and short speech were given by Kavili Achumi State Office Secretary, BJP Nagaland, Dr Simon Sumi Sr Dental Specialist, NHAK.
