Kohima, August 17 (MExN): The Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E) Nagaland today informed that it has decided to issue digitally signed personal copy of GPF Final Payment Authority to the retired State Government Officers/Officials on their personal e-mail IDs/WhatsApp mobile numbers with effect from August 11.
The Departmental copies and Treasury copies of GPF Final Payment Authority will be signed copies as usual, it said.
In this connection, all Heads of the Department are requested to furnish the e-mail IDs/WhatsApp mobile numbers of the retired GPF subscribers while forwarding application for GPF Final Payment to Principal Accountant General (A&E) office.
It further requested the Drawing & Disbursing Officers (DDOs) to accept the digitally signed personal copy of GPF Final Payment Authority as authentic for processing the payment.
All the DDOs are also expected to register in the DDO Module on the Online GPF Information System (https://nlagpfgov.in) at the earliest as the DDO copies of GPF Final Payment Authorities will be uploaded on the System, it added.
Further, the DDOs are directed to forward email applications for GPF Final Payment online at agaenagaland@cag.gov.in or saogpfnld.ae@cag.gov.in so as to facilitate hassle-free and quick issuance of GPF Final Payment Authority.
This office is expecting highest cooperation from all the DDOs as well as the GPF subscribers for making this initiative a success, the Principal Accountant General (A&E) office added.
