DIMAPUR, APRIL 28 (MExN): Prodigys won the first ever Inter-Club Softball Tournament organised by the Dimapur District Softball Association. The tournament was organised under the aegis of the Nagaland Softball Association (NSA) on April 28 at the DDSC Stadium.
The NSA informed that 5 teams competed in the tournament. Prodigys defeated Black Feather Sports Club in the final game to win a cash prize of Rs. 10,000. The runners-up won Rs. 5000.
Rising Juniors was adjudged the Best Discipline Team. In individual performances, Rajesh Rai of team Prodigys was adjudged the Best Pitcher, Mark Angami and Nagaho of team Prodigys were declared the Best Players and the upcoming player of the tournament award went to Lanumoa of team Esa Warrior.
