Promotion, reshuffle of IPS, NPS officers

Kohima, June 7 (MExN): S.T. Sangtam, IPS, IGP (Hqr) of 1986 batch has been promoted to the rank of Additional Director General of Police with immediate effect. This was stated in a notification received here, issued by home commissioner J. Alam, IAS. Another notification stated that L. Thechamo Lotha have been transferred and posted as ADGP (OPS) from ADGP (Adm) while S.T.Sangtam transferred and posted as ADGP (Adm) on promotion from IGP (Hqr) with immediate effect. The notification said that handing and taking over of charge should be completed within ten days from the date of issue of the notification.
In another order of transfer and posting of IPS/NPS officers, Roopa M, IPS has been transferred and posted as SP Tuensang from the present place of posting AIGP (Adm) PHQ, Jasbir Singh, IPS transferred and posted as AIG (Supply) PHQ from SP Tuensang, S.R. Saravanan, IPS transferred and posted as AIGP (Adm) PHQ from AIG (Supply), PHQ, Rajashekaran, IPS transferred and posted as SP (SB) PHQ from Dy. Commandant Ist NAP, Sanmeet Kaur, IPS transferred and posted as SP (Security) PHQ from Dy. Commandant 2nd NAP and W. Krome, NPS transferred and posted as Sr. SP PHQ from SP PHQ. The notification stated that handing and taking over of charge should be completed within 15 days from the date of issue of this notification.
