Mokokchung, July 15 (DIPR): The monthly meeting of Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) was held at ADC Planning’s conference hall on July 15 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman, Mokokchung DPDB, Sushil Kumar Patel (IAS).
During discussion on the proposal for construction of driving track at ITI Mokokchung campus, Principal ITI Mokokchung elaborated that the proposed one km long track will act as a demarcation of ITI campus. It will also serve as a connecting route for the revenue generation workshops in the campus for skilled unemployed youths, and can be used by public for driving practice, he said.
Up-gradation of GMS, Sabangya to High School was discussed and recommended for necessary action. The Chairman also informed the departmental officers to forward the names of staff for the conduct of speed test for typists. Work distribution for Independence Day celebration was issued to respective departments.
District Sports Officer, Mokokchung Libemo Jami delivered a PowerPoint presentation on setting up of Badminton Sports Academy in Mokokchung.
