Christian patriotism, loyalty to the law and government of the Most High , is the loftiest aspiration that can ever come to any soul. The separation of religion and the State is one of the most important questions that any people can ever consider in connection with Christian patriotism; because the union of religion and the state has marked the greatest apostasies from God. It has caused more misery than any other thing in all history. The complete separation of religion and the State is Christian. Answering loyalty to this principle is Christian patriotism. This is not a mere sentiment or side issue of Christianity; it is one of the fundamental principles and Chief Characteristics of Christianity. And the separation of religion and the State is one of the great thoughts of the Bible. It is one of the leading principles of that Book which for man is the source of all sound principle. Many people think that the two or three expression of Christ as recorded in the New Testament is all that the Bible contains on the subject of the separation of Church and State. But separation of religion and the state is one of the original thoughts of the Bible, and reaches the beginning to the end of the Book.
The ways of God are right. His Word is the only certain light, the only sure truth. The principles which He has announced are the only safe principles for the guidance of men. We hope to make each study so plain that every reader can easily grasp the truth of it.
PROSPERITY? NO!
Once I happened to be standing in queue anxiously to cast my rightful vote and was surprised in hearing a woman around 40’s laughingly telling her friend, I could cast 7 times and coming for 8th chance! This is a clear refutation of the popular ear-tickling “Prosperity Message”, and therefore, a very important passage for our ensuing ELECTION day, just as it was in Timothy’s. (See 1 Tim. 6:5-11). Please note the following three observations from that passage. We (Christians) are to be “content” with our material possessions. This is the opposite of being “eager” for money, which is equated with “the love of money”. The word “eager” (verse 10) means; “reach out after, covet after, desire”. This speaks of greed, another name for idolatry (Col. 3:5, Eph. 5:5). Remember, All idolaters will end up in the fiery lake of burning sulfur (Rev. 21:8)! Therefore, a very real DANGER…….namely the fiery of burning sulfur – exists through any message, including this one that would generate the love of money! As a safeguard against this Paul advises the people of God to flee the desire to get rich and instead pursue much more important things like righteousness, godliness, faith, love endurance and gentleness. Consequently, the real issue here evolves around Christian goals, ambitious and priorities. They are to be spiritual and eternal, not material and temporal. (1 Timothy 5:8).
DO SOMETHING!!!
The world is going to HELL FAST! For decades the Church, state and the family unit have been on a downward spiral. Anyone who DARES to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help them God, will find themselves under a relentless demonic attack from every quarter, as we at OCM well know. If you are planning a future of TRUTH TELLING, please be advised that war will come to your doorstep!
Who can we trust in this generation? Hardly anyone… be careful even of yourself, for seeds of betrayal lie in EVERY human heart, NO EXCEPTIONS. We wish we could trust our politicians, but we can’t. They use God’s name (not just for cursing) in vain hoping to pull the wool over our eyes so as to sound spiritual (when convenient for a vote or a pat on the back…or the buns). We would like to believe that they care for “God and country” but seeing is believing. Generation after sick generation they have eaten off of the table of Satan, relishing his “subversive dainties” that slowly but surely kill. They have turned their backs on biblical correctness and embraced many alien philosophies diametrically opposed even to common sense. They continue working while the “good old boys” play. They work hard to strip us of our national and spiritual freedom. If we don’t fight back they will succeed!
ENJOY WHAT GOD GIVES YOU
A man to whom God has given riches and wealth and honor, so that he lacks nothing for himself of all he desires; yet God does not give him power to eat of it, but a foreigner consumes it. This is vanity, and it is an evil affliction (Ecc. 6:2). I have seen servants on horses, while princes walk on the ground like servants (Ecc. 10:7).
