PRSU alleges former EAC Panso Town of fraud

Tuensang, June 29 (MExN): The Pathso Range Students’ Union (PRSU) today disclosed that a former EAC of Panso Town has been involved in “fraudulent deed” under the Noklak sub division of Tuensang district by “issuing unauthorized site permits and charging money.”

The PRSU alleged that the “fraudulent deed committed by the former EAC Panso Town” has been “creating unnecessary administrative disarray and confusion among the people.” The Union stated that “such harassment of innocent public taking due advantage of illiteracy in the area is questionable.”

The Union president Shangchiu and Information & Publicity Secretary Tsoinyu in a press statement said that the PRSU has served an ultimatum through the Deputy Commission, Tuensang on September 13, 2016 for monetary recovery and disciplinary action against the defaulter within 35 days from the issue of the letter and consecutively, a 10 day ultimatum was also submitted to the Parliamentary Secretary, Land Resource on June 14, 2017.

However, the PRSU pointed out that the “lackadaisical attitude to public grievances” is only an act of accomplice and connivance to social criminals which further encourage more corruptions. Further, the Union lamented that the case cannot be pursued any further and has lost all hope in fulfilling the pledge of the subject of demand that has been made with the site permit holders and beg unconditional apology to the victims since the State competent authority has turned deaf ear to the cry of the common people.

Therefore, the PRSU appeal to “every legal activists and organizations to take up the matter if they think that the garbage of such correctness deserve attention.”
