PSAN allege it was provided ‘wrong & incomplete’ RTI info

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 9 (MExN): The Public Service Aspirants of Nagaland (PSAN) today alleged that it has been provided with “wrong and incomplete information” by the Legal Metrology and Consumer Protection Department against the RTI filed by the organization.

A press note from the PSAN stated that the information provided in response to the RTI was “in contrast to the information provided to the Chief Information Commission, Nagaland by the Department in 2015.”

The PSAN further claimed that the department had failed to provide information of 5 employees. The PSAN cautioned that it would take further course of action by writing a complaint letter to the Chief Information Commissioner to “take action against the department for providing our wrong and incomplete information.”

“At the same time, we caution other departments to sincerely furnish the information sought from them so as to avoid further complication and the wrath of thousands of educated unemployed young Nagas,” it added.

The PSAN further reminded all departments that the information sought by the PSAN through RTIs is only for those posts which are to be recruited through NPSC (Class-I, Class-II & Class-III Grade Pay of 2800 and above).
