Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): The Public Service Aspirants of Nagaland (PSAN) today censured the State Government over its alleged proposal to scrap class-III posts from NPSC Exam.
“As per sources, the government has set up Cabinet Sub Committee to do away with the Class - III posts in NPSC examinations,” PSAN maintained in a press release from its Media Cell.
PSAN, representing the thousands of aspirants all over Nagaland, is bewildered by this action, it said calling it another “pathetic act of the government” to indirectly demolish “the aspirations of the Naga human resources that wish to serve the government offices through fair and open completion.”
If the said posts are scrapped, the number of vacancies available for free and fair selection will drastically come down, PSAN further said.
When the vacancies advertised never reaches triple figure in a calendar year despite the inclusion of the said posts, the move to scrap the same will destroy the aspiration of “thousands of Naga youths who are burning midnight oil with all honesty, sincerity, integrity and dedication,” it added.
PSAN further reminded the government that when “Human resources of the state is compromised , the future of the state is doomed as corrupted and incapable heads who enter the departments via backdoor appointment can never be a capable captain of the ship and will ultimately sink the ship.”
It also appealed to all the aspirants to co ordinate, co operate and commit its sense of ownership and responsibility towards the group that fights for all the deserving and rightful aspirants.
“Brings into the notice of the government to take this issues seriously with priority lest, the aspirants who are serious about their life runs out of patience at any given point of time,” it added.
