PSC confirms ‘poor workmanship’ along NH-155

Dimapur, February 20 (MExN): The Phom Student’s Conference (PSC) after having been confirmed on visiting the spot on February 19, 2010 said that ‘there is poor workmanship along the NH-155’ and therefore extends strong support to the stand of its parent Body, ENSF.

The Conference in a press release issued by its President Manlang Phom and Vice President M.Chaupong Leinak expressed shock “as to how some individuals, organisations support the defaulting contractor, Pele Khezhie, who is also the President, NCSU without having seen the so-called completed work, which is far below specification in all aspects and thereby failing to justify their stand before the people.” Therefore, the PSC also asserted that “any responsible Organisations should base their stand on reason and justified ground and not under the influence of some vested interest or fear of some powerful people.”

While assuring to support ENSF in its effort to safeguard the interest of the people of Eastern Nagaland, the PSC suggested that “It will be wise on the part of any established organisation to admit one’s own shortcomings as the so-called completed work speaks volumes of poor workmanship rather than accusing the reputed and apex student’s Organisation like ENSF which stands for the common cause involving 1/3rd population of the State.”
