Kohima, December 29 (MExN): The Phek Students’ Union (PSU) will be holding its 67th general session-cum-cultural dance competition from January 2 to 3, 2026 at GHS Auditorium Hall, Phek Village under the theme “Beyond Mediocrity.”
A press update from the Union stated that Dr Pritpaul Kaur, IPS, Superintendent of Police Phek will be the speaker for the inaugural session.
At the same time, it informed that Dr Kuvezochi Hoshi, General Secretary COB, Naga People’s Front will be the cultural guest while W Balong Pom, EAC Phek HQ and Dr Zokho Venuh, Principal, Capital College of Higher Education, Kohima will be speakers for literary and valedictory session respectively.
Likewise, it notified that greetings will be shared by Veshe Chizo, president Phekmi Collegiate Forum during inaugural session while Huvekholii Keyho, Women VDB secretary, Phek village will exhort the gathering during literary session.
The literary session will be marked by spelling bee, extempore speech and quiz.
Chivozo Soho, chairman Phek Village Council will also exhort the gathering during cultural session while the cultural session will be marked by Folk Dance Competition for Lt Huvekhuyi Soho Memorial Trophy, Quartet (Indigenous) and Duet (Indigenous).
PSU Night on January 3 will feature guest artists- Ludoveyi Vero (Ado), Zhozo Chizo and Nukuto Vadeo.
Furthermore, the PSU invites all frontal leaders and well wishers to grace the session.
