Phek, July 26 (MExN): The Pochury Students’ Union Phek Town (PSUPT) organized its first ever General Conference on July 23 at SIRD Hall, Phek Town, under the theme, ‘design the Society through education,’ with Alarhu Nyuthe Subsidiary Intelligent Bureau (SIB) Officer, Phek, as the chief guest and Nyushotho Nyuthe, District Statistical Officer (DSO) Phek as the guest of honour.
A press release stated that addressing the gathering, Alarhu urged upon the students’ student to be dedicated in their studies and by reading more books, adding one should strive hard for any kind of targeted goals so as to become at par with others and to be survival in this highly competitive world.
Kuthorhole Nyuthe Asst. Professor (PGC) Phek, exposed the Union theme, President PSUPT, Luthsuchu Trakgha delivered a welcome note, Rasietho Kajiri PA to DC Phek exhorted the gathering. Nyushotho Nyuthe, while de-hoisting the Union as the guest of honour urged the students’ to opt for hard working mentality and be competitors in the world of modern technology.
The programme was led by Lulachu Lhoutsuthu Information Secretary PSUPT, Pastor, Pochury Baptist Church Phek Town, Wavitho pronounced opening prayer, while Chomong, Head Deacon, Pastor, Pochury Baptist Church Phek Town proposed a closing prayer.
