DIMAPUR, AUGUST 12 (MExN): The 26th phase sanitation drive of the Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union (PTCSU) was conducted successfully along with Kiddies Corner School on July 22. Led by the PTCSU executives, around 199 students, teachers and 30 ward representatives conducted the drive.
In a short program conducted prior to the sanitation drive, PTCSU president Surhoveyi Khesoh emphasized on the initiative’s primary focus which is to increase students community involvement, promoting behaviour change and healthy technique with positive efforts and strengthening community holistic capacity building.
The drive will be conducted bi-monthly on a roster basis with active participation from all the education institutes within the jurisdiction of Phek Town. The initiative marks the road to the Celebration of 50 years of Phek district formation tentatively fixed on December 21, 2023 at Phek Town.
