PTCSU issue directives for educational institutions

Phek, June 4 (MExN): The Phek Town Chakhesang Students' Union (PTCSU) has stated that it will completely ban the sale of all tobacco related products within 100 yards radius of educational institutions. In this regard, all shops located in Phek Town within the demarcated radius have been fully sensitized and pamphlets pasted on all the shops.  

A press release from PTCSU President, Thuputo Venuh and Editor, Se-o Hoshi informed that the union will initiate strict penalty in the event of failure to comply with the resolution by the shops. The students’ union further cautioned that it will strictly monitor class bunking by students, unruly behavior against teachers, substance abuse, loitering during exam, insincere teachers etc.

The union also notified that no Transfer Certificate should be issued to students on account of his/her poor academic performance, especially Class - 9 students, by any educational institutions of Phek Town.  

Meanwhile, teachers/tutors were strictly directed to adhere with the new private tuition rates set by the union. In addition, all HoDs and govt. job holders have been requested to be sincere, committed and execute their duties effectively. The union added that it may conduct surprise checking at any point of time and legal action will be taken against any erring employees found.
