Kohima, August 3 (MExN): The Directorate of Science & Technology (DST) has commissioned its 2nd Innovation Hub & Space Education Centre on August 3 at the DST Complex Kohima, boasting of a Planetarium, among others.
The second Planetarium of the State will be opened for public access from August 4 and tickets can be availed at the premises, informed a press release. The first digital planetarium is located at Nagaland Science Centre, behind Super Market, Dimapur.
Speaking on the occasion, Hokhuli K Chishi Secretary DST highlighted that the hub and the centre, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, will serve as springboards for nurturing young minds.
The facilities include design studio, electrical and electronics section, mechanical section, resource centre, bio-chemistry section etc. The building was officially inaugurated in January 2021.
